Fatal Error: Timeout after 30 seconds

I have a customer trying to place an order, and this is what she sees...
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/lverburg/public_html/store/includes/classes/shopping_cart.php on line 1061

She has 64 products in her cart. No attributes to choose from. My site is www.awalkdownmemorylane.net

Can someone tell me why this is happening and how do I fix it? How many orders have I lost because of something like this?? :(

1 Turn on GZip in the Configuration ... GZip ...

2 Optimize your images ... they are monsters ... :eek:

3 Turn off the Shopping Cart sidebox when on the Shopping Cart ... why show the same thing twice and do twice the work? Configuration ... Layout Settings ...

Shopping Cart Shows
0= Always
1= Only when full
2= Only when full but not when viewing the Shopping Cart

4 You have Categories with both Products and Categories ... Categories hold Products or Categories never both ... this will cause numerous issues on your site ...

5 Check with your hosting site about an overloaded server ...

NOTE: I have a cart with 55+ products right now and no issues ... could of been an overload on the server and a restart fixed the problem for now ... Could of been issues with many other things either your site or someone else's causing the slowdown ...

2. ?? How do I do that without losing the closeup detail? Most of the products I sell I have gotten off of the websites of the manufacturers, so they were already on the web.

4. Will work on getting everything into categories, even if it means having a category with only one product

5. I will do that, but it seems to happen at different times of the day. The customer tried it a few times, and I've tried it, once in the morning, and once at about 1am and got the same problem.

I can get through until I click through the page with discounts. I can't get farther than that. It used to give me the error message, now, I'm just getting a blank page. No error or anything.
