Incorporating current site with Zen Cart

Greetz.

I already have a prebuilt site with Paypal Add to cart button.

I am looking at zen cart to setup my main site so that my customers can:

A. Go to my site
B. Add items to a cart
C. Then the customers will select to either to send it Paypal or Google checkout.

Questions:
A. is This possible?
B. Is their a tutorial on how to add "Zencart type Add to cart" button?

Thank you,

S.U.C

Re: Incorporating current site with Zen Cart

Zen Cart doesn't do that. You have to incorporate your products into the Zen Cart system.

Re: Incorporating current site with Zen Cart

It will be far easier to maintain your stock with a ZC site than a manual PayPal site.

Re: Incorporating current site with Zen Cart

You can skin and modify ZenCart so it looks and feels just like your website - so users don't even notice a difference transitioning to the "store" part of the site.

That would be my suggestion.

You're right. I'm working on something like that right now, but S.U.C was asking about using ZC as the back end only... selecting items on the current site and passing them to ZC. It doesn't work that way.

You could consider using your current site as a showcase of sorts for some of your products and linking to ZC to do actual shopping/buying. That way you could ease into using ZC and get used to the setup and such.
