Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levels

Re: I need so much help....

Michelle...

It seems that your site has been UPGRADED to version 1.3.7 from version 1.3.5, and whoever did this for you has not UPGRADED the database at the same time.

For an inexperienced person, it is not advisable to do the upgrade patching, as doing the incorrect thing can damage the database.

Unfortunately, I am unable to offer any service to you in this area, but perhaps others will find this post, and be in a position to assist.

Re: I need so much help....

Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Tools->Server Information to review patch levelsThis usually appears when zencart has been installed and then
updated using Fantastico..unfortunately this method does not work
because Fantastico omits to upgrade mysql database...
Do you have copies of your zencart where this message did NOT appear?

Re: I need so much help....

Don't worry. We'll hold your hand and get you through this.

If you're willing to give this a go on your own and learn how to maintain your cart yourself, let me suggest that you download ZC 1.3.7 (link in the downloads section - see top of screen) and FTP it to the domain where you have ZC installed. If this sounds like gibberish to you, don't worry. We were all newbies once.

I promise you that you can get there.

Re: I need so much help....

You'll need to get something like Filezilla (google them. it's a free FTP client). FTP (File Transfer Protocol) lets you move files between your domain and your PC.

If you are really in a bind and need more help than being talked through, PM me (click on my user name or avatar).

Re: I need so much help....

I am betting you can get through this on your own. I know you're freaked out right now, but once you get your database to the correct level, other things may fall into place for you. Anyone who's replied to you so far can help get you through, so don't feel you're alone in this.

Re: I need so much help....

Well, she got her db upgraded.

I wish I knew what happened to her template files. Her logo is MIA. I think most of what's left can be done from the admin and by editing/recreating her custom template. It's based on blue_strip if anyone's familiar with it.

gypsycrafter... on her way to being totally Zenned!

Hey, everyone! How cool is this? www.passion4crafts.co.uk/store/

Anyone know why the products drop off the bottom of the pink center in IE? It's fine in FF.

We're coasting now. The rest of what you want to do is fairly easy. I firmly believe that we're much better off knowing how to do it ourselves. Of course, there are some folks that just don't have the time or the inclination (nothing wrong with that... gives the rest of us something to do!), but you are ahead of the game if you can at least take care of the minor things in an emergency.
