Answer to first question, php editing knowledge required to move code below the other or you can just turn it off in admin

Configuration --> Layout Settings --> Customer Greeting - Show on Index Page set to 0

Answer to second question
Configuration --> Layout Settings --> Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF set to off

I would like to move my Welcome Guest to just under my Shopping Cart button which I moved from the upper left corner to the upper right corner. Any change you can post the page and code to move Welcome Guest to just below? Thanks!!

Re: Moving this: Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

Thanks! Here's a link: http://www.yourbeautystore.com/

I have the welcome guest turned off for now but, I'd like it under my shopping cart. I'd also like my Search box under that too. Maybe a horizontal nav bar upper right?

I appreciate you help!

Re: Moving this: Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

First, I would recommend making your shopping cart clickable. It will improve ease-of-use and checkout for your customers. You can link it to the cart with this url: /index.php?main_page=shopping_cart

Second, I believe that cart was put there in a custom template. Do you remember how you added the cart there? Just go back to that same file and add the other text below it.

An upper nav bar can be created using EZ pages. Just go to your Admin > Tools > EZ Pages, and add some pages there. More information on how to use EZ pages is located here: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=117

Re: Moving this: Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

Thanks for noticing that my shopping cart link was not working !

I have tried to add the link you recommended to my stylesheet.css - that is where I moved the image to the right and renamed it to the image I uploaded in to my image file.

I am using the iC-Acadame_v1.2 template.

Where else would I go to add that link to make that shopping cart work and do I need to add anything to the link as you have it?

Ahh, i see. So instead you'll need to go to the actual file where the shopping cart image is.

Go to Admin > Tools > Developer Tools and scroll to the bottom. search for the following in "catalog":

<div id="cart_header"

That will tell you which file it is in, so you can go open that file and make your edits there.

Re: Moving this: Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

Yea Found it:

Line #47 : <div id="cart_header" class="topBox">Shopping Cart<br /><? echo $_SESSION['cart']->count_contents();?> item(s) - <? echo $currencies->format($_SESSION['cart']->show_total());?></div>

Would you please tell me where I add the code you gave me:

/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart

Thanks !!

Re: Moving this: Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in?

now it's a simple case of creating the HTML code to add the link, add your new text, and the search box

Sorry, but I am lost now. . . do I add the link to my tpl_header.php (this is where my <div id="cart_header" .... is) and is the link an HTML I create or can I use what you gave me (/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart)

I want to make sure when they click on it they see their shopping cart contents. Thanks again.
