Zen Cart / XAMPP / PHPBB

Ok, going through the manual, which is great! I have XAMPP setup on my localhost (minor problems with the email setup but KH is working on that, here is the link for that, http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60425)

The hard part seems to be getting PHPBB up and going on the local server. I have only seen one post here on it that came close to telling how, but the answer wasn't posted.

If someone could list how to install PHPBB with XAMPP and integrate it with Zen Cart, that would be a great help.

When you installed Zen Cart on XAMPP did you elect to set up phpBB at that time?

Yes, I did. I think the problem is that I have no password for my database being that its a local host. Once I get a password and user name and password on my localhost for that database, I am sure it will work with no problem. Just need the time to sit down and work on it. If you have done this before I would love to hear any tips!

The only reason you don't have a password is because you haven't set one up.

I think for your link you mean http://localhost/security/index.php well at least on xampp 1.4.16
