Please help me with Paypal Express problem!

From step 1 check_out I got redirected to Paypal, then after clicking on "preview" I got redirected back to check_out step 2. Many of my customers got confused and gave up. Is this normal behavior or an error somehow? Is there a way to get around it? Thank you.

normal behaviour

They go to PayPal to select address and funding options.
Then they come back to your site to confirm pricing and the final amount, and complete the order (which will then take actual payment).

Can't they confirm it on Paypal as well (just like google checkout), coz I have like 5 confused customers(who gave up in the end) in just 2 days.

If you don't like the Express Checkout program flow, you'll have to use something else, perhaps the PayPal IPN module instead.
