seeing sales

This seems like a really basic question but I can't seem to figure it out. Where in the admin area can I see & export the customers who ordered a product?

I can see how many people bought an item (in reports>products purchased), and I can see each individual customer's purchase one at a time (in customers>orders).

But I need a list of people who bought each item so I can ship them out, where do I find that info?

Two possibilities:-

If you are not seeing orders in customers>orders then:

1. No one has placed an order (yet)
2. There's a misconfiguration (faulty or corrupt php file, probably)

Place a TRIAL order yourself... if you place an order, and STILL nothing appears in customers>orders...

Then you know that it's not Number 1 but Number 2 (above)

The sales are working properly, I can see sales coming in, I just can't seem to find a way to see all the sales of a particular product at once. So lets say 15 people bought and item, and I want to ship the item out, I have to click each customer one at a time and cut and paste their info into my spreadsheet. Seems pretty labour intensive and I assumed there was a way to see and export all the orders, but maybe there isn't.
