Make products available for some customers, not others.

I have a client that sells consultancy services by telephone. They want customers to be able to buy two products online:

1. A downloadable document.

2. A 'one-hour' telephone consultancy session.

They want anyone to be able to buy the document. My problem is, they want people to contact them for an informal talk BEFORE being able to buy the consultancy sessions. They are worried that people may buy the session and then find it inappropriate.

So... I was wondering if there was a way to allow the site admin to manually allow specific customers access to a product, but not others?. :unsure:

Set document as download.. set consultancy session
as call for price...possible to change call for price image
to whatever suits your client.. i.e.

Although I see the virtue of the the 'Call for Price' option, AFAIK, the only way my client could make a sale is to make arrangements with their provider to take a CC payment over the phone.

It would be nice if store owners could provide a customer with a price and perhaps a code which they could then use to buy the item online.
