new order emails, not being sent to admin

Ok, here is the senario
I have taken over the set up a Zen Cart on dreamhost. it is using the play flow module, that after some fanagaling with I got working. In that process one of the things that I had to do was add a line to my .htaccess file that started parsing php as CGI. Since then the zen cart (ver 1.3.7) has not sent copies of the new orders to the admin.

Anybody got an Idea.

Have you tried using some alternate "email transport" methods now that you've told your PHP to run in an interpretive mode instead of native mode?

Has the host been contacted to ask for suggestions? They should be able to tell you what configuration differences exist between modes on their server.

I had tried all the different methods of email transport here is an interesting revelation. I tried other addresses and they worked. so I realized that it it just a problem w/ the clients AOL account. So I set up a fwing address on my server (the site is not hosted w/ me). and it work to get to other emails addresses, but when I set it to fw to the aol address it just drifted off into space. Can we n that) think of any reason that aol would reject these emails?

AOL commonly rejects emails with no practical reason. It could easily be that your particular servers' IP has been blacklisted because of rogue email floods happening by some other account on the same server.
It could be blacklisted because someone with an AOL account complained that you were spamming them ... without even opening their emails (ie: a Welcome or order-confirmation email etc that they had no idea they'd be receiving).

Talk to AOL.
