How to install flash on version 1.3.7

It seems the threads for installing flash are outdated. I want to add a flash .swf file right underneath the logo.gif and header_bg.jpg image. I only want the flash movie to play on the homepage of the site, no other pages.

Can somebody please give me a hint what file or files to input the flash code?

The same priciples apply and there are threads that are not too old on this.

Then you need to search for different style per page
