More than 15 orderlines does not work

I am really getting crazy by now......... I have the latest ZenCart installed and everything seems to work fine... BUT when a customer has more than 15 order lines things start getting wrong.

E.g. at step 2 of the order process I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in ........\includes\classes\db\mysql\query_factory.php on line 166

Hope someone can help me out.

If you switch back to the Classic template, do you still have the problem?

Saw your test order: Beats me! I have tried with 16 products and it failed.... I have a customer example of 20 orderlines, that can't get through... How was the performance?

I have taken a customer example that failed at 20 lines.... took 1 out and tried again, etc.... At 18 orderlines it went through!

Check with your hosting site about being on an overloaded server ...

I got to the 4th product and packed up my credit card and went home ... got too tired waiting for the screens to respond/draw ... :eek:

I have been talking to them for long time.... according to them there is noting wrong with the server or DB. The helpdeskdude told me that it was ZenCart that did a lot of SELECT * statements...... Right now I do not know what to do....

zen does do alot of select statements,
thats why zen or any other ecommerce solution needs to be on a server thats designed for it

ask them to allow more processes and to increase the amount of memory allowed by mysql
