export sales data to spreadsheet?

hi everyone,

i would like to export my sales data to a spreadsheet, ultimately for the use of reporting to soundscan. but for now, i just need a list of each customer, their address and zip code, and what they purchased. does anyone have a suggestion for how to do that? the best i can do is export the mysql tables, for orders and orders_product, but then i have no way to put the two together. thanks in advance!

You might be able to take the "Email Export" module (found in the donwloads section) and alter that to fit your needs.

I used something similar to create a new "export tool" that allowed me to export shipping information (including some order info) for sending via the Internet to UPS to use in shipping and packaging products.

I needed to do for a client that used UPS as their shipper, but had a system provided to them via UPS that had a scale tied into a bar code label printer (like you can print labels from "FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.." online). Because they did so many orders, the method of printing labels using Zen Cart would not work.

We tied into their online UPS account to print actual labels on demand (bar coded UPS shipping labels) and sent an export file to that system. With two clicks, they could export information from within the Admin of Zen to a format that would then be imported into the UPS system and labels printed.
