admin no longer available

I tried to login to my admin this evening and got this message;

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare zen_get_artists_url() (previously declared in /home/therscom/public_html/store/admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/product_music_functions.php:25) in /home/therscom/public_html/store/admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/product_music_functions.php.bac on line **25

**Can anyone help me with this? THe store is alright, I just want to add some products.

Sorry to bother you - it was my hosts activity. I had forgotten that they are doing intensive upgrading and moving to new servers. I apparently tried to login in the middle of the move.

Hello Ajeh..... I need help....

I bought a very expensive template a year ago that I had not used. I tried to install it in my cart but it would not work with 1.3 zen cart new version. What I did was that I reinstalled 1.2 and I was able to upload you can see it at :**www.usbrokerscloset.com**. Now.. I cannot get in the admin panel at all.
After installing version 1.2 it will not let me login with the admin UN and PW and it wont email it to us either. I've dropped the admin table in the mySQL database and edited the admin table according to suggestions in their support forums but it still willl not work. There is no phone nunber that I can find in the Zen Page to speak with someone live, I need to get my cart going... Please help if you can. What can I do?

Down grading to v1.2.x is not a good plan with security risks, bug fixes and lack of features ...

You might look to see if someone can upgrade that template to work with Zen Cart v1.3.7 ...

Lack of support will make it worth the effort to do this right ...

Thank you very much for your reply, you cannot imagine how confuse I am because I really do not know anything about Carts, PHP, HTML etc; my daughter does and she is the one that has been trying to help me with the cart, but right now she cannot pay attention to my problem because she has a lot of responsibilities at her job that have her tied up and me constantly asking her questions gets her more stressed, so I am trying to fix the problem asking around by myself to see if someone can help me.

While trying different avenues because zen page does not have a phone number, i found this site: [email protected], the available chat person gave me these numbers to call 1-518-312-4122
1-518-312-4147, 1-518-320-8715, I was able to connect with the 4147 number, and the person who answered the phone told me to send a Ticket on line that the techs were not there at the time I called. So I did, and I received a reply saying that they were going to look into the problem.

Now that you tell me about 'bug fixes" and support, it is good that you mentioned because I spoke to another online chat help person before, and he told me that Oscommerce templates and carts were the most stable reagarding to bugs.

In this confusion because like I said, I do not know nothing about carts and PHP/HTML language, and probably reinstalling the 1.3.7 cart and probably need to buy another template, I go to MonsterTemplates and I see many, but..when I click on Zen Templates there are only a few, some of them are too dark colors, others are too bright colors, other have very little space for pictures, most of them go vertical for the images, and I do not know how to change those colors and do all these changes that I need for my specific online shop.

My two questions to you are:

1) If I happen to see a template by any other make, like Oscommerce, Creloaded or else..that I llike because of the colors and functionality to my shop, are these Templates Compatible to Zen Cart 1.3.7 ?

2) My daughter does not have the time to reinstall back again 1.3.7 after decide to buy this supposed new template.- who and where can I receive support for this and how much do I have to pay this person to reinstall and intall the new template?

Zen Cart and osC are two totally different animals ...

We have made so many releases since the last osC release I hate to think how many issues exist in their old MS2 version that has been slated for an upgrade for several years ...

Templates for Zen Cart come in 2 flavors ...

1 those done right and are called Zen Cart v1.3.x

2 those done wrong and are called Zen Cart v1.3.x

Unfortunately, it is hard to know if the template was made right until purchased ...

Seldom are they done right unless you have someone design one for you or go to our downloads for a template ... you can also see many of these templates at:

This site is a really nice demonstration of many of the templates and an opportunity to see them function ...

Remember if it doesn't say Zen Cart ... it for sure will not work ...

If it does say Zen Cart ... it depends on the designer and if they have a clue how to really design templates for Zen Cart or, do as you have seen with many sites, hard code everything and more or less defeat the purpose of the Zen Cart templates and overrides ...

Similar problem here. Been logging into the cart and using it successfully for a long time. This morning when we login we get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function Execute() on a non-object in /home/XXXXX/public_html/zencart/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 61

Only thing that has changed in recent history is renewal of the SSL. No other changes have been posted to the cart. Read in another forum about changing from DB to File based, and about making sure the configuration files are correct.

Sounds like your host upgraded to php 5.2 ... there is a known bug in that version ...

Zen Cart v1.3.7 does address this problem, plus include the current PayPal Patch:
