Is there any addon for articles in zen cart? As I am using zen for web catalogue for our small publishing house, I would need some aditional pages for a few words (or maybe not so few), about our top authors.

And, is there any option of writing something on the front page in html? (need it for our new books - "new" category is not ok, because I can not ad any description.

You should use EZ Pages for this.

and so on...

I'm not familiar with it, but there is a "document general" product type built into ZC which may be of help for what you want to do.

From the sound of it, you could create an "Our Authors" category and the "products" in it would be their articles.
