Template's Superfluous html

It's not often you get the chance to say *superfluous *:bigups:

Anyway, I see some divs (mostly wrappers I think) that I would prefer not to have in my template, e.g. div#navMain. Is it possible to get rid of these in the template without breaking any Zen Cart/contrib's functions?

Also is it possible to remove class attributes that aren't needed without causing problems?

thanks

Re: Template's Superfluous html

The only definitive answer is ... you're free to do whatever you like. Just be sure to test that everything still works as desired after making your changes.
As to addon contributions and the impact of your changes ... again, be sure to test before going live with any alterations to your site.
