New server, customers can't log in!

I have a new shop, my first Zen. it's here:

I test drove it a few weeks ago and was waiting for the supplier to get ready. Then disaster struck and my host went down for 10 hours. halfway through that I bailed and loaded to a new host. Got everything up and running and checked out on my main shop (running osC) but forgot to verify all was well with my zen shop. So, OK, the product is finally ready and I'm tweaking the details on my zen shop today. I try to run an order through and now I can't even log in as a customer. I can't create a new account. I am able to request a new password but still can't get logged in.
Admin is fine. SSL looks good. New host is a nice fast VPS. I did have to make some setting changes for my osC store to function properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Found the answer (the search here works so much better than over at forum osC!)

try turning OFF re-create sessions in the
admin -> configuration -> sessions
