Category, Grid Display Mod - Not displaying correctly...

Hi there,

Right as the title suggests, i've got Dr. Bytes Grid Mod in, and im haveing problems.

Now im no stranger to forums, and did a search, I found some other entries of this title and near to it - with the same problem, but these users were using much older V's of Zen Cart.

I doubled checked the solutions posted for these, and the code in the mod i have just installed has the amendments mentioned in it already

So, if you would lend me 5 mins of your time, and take a look at https://www.aspirehandbags.com

If you click on the category links, roughly every other time you refresh, the page displays incorreclty.

I have tried trouble shooting and got this info so far.

IE & Firefox both display the prob.
Prob is there when logged in / not logged in.

Set to 2, 3 & 4 columns, none of these work better than another.

I have at the moment, made the column width and sidebox widths on the right 0px to see if the extra room helped. It hasn't.

I dont have any sideboxes assigned to the right now, so they shouldn't be affecting it.

this happens on every catagory.

If anyone could give me a nudge i would be very thankful, This store will then be finished!

Can't see or determine what your code is for the on hover image pop-up is or what file(s) it touches but first try to disable/remove this and see if the issue remains

Ok as stated i am using img handler 2. I cannot see how to turn this off without uninstalling it.

I haven't done this as i fear all my images will disapear and i hav to go through all the products to attach them again.

If you know how i can turn IH off without getting rid of it....?

In addition, i noticed that IH has a maximum size for the large images, i amended this to something more realistic, 450px. This doesn't seem to have helped though.
I have noticed that the problem appears much more often in firefox than IE.

So...

I need to know how to turn off IH without deleting all my images / link to the products,

And if while i try to do that, anyone has any ideas for other things that mgith be causing this?

Unrelated ... you're going to have SSL warning errors if you keep your hardcoded image paths in your stylesheet.

One example:

	background: url(http://www.freerangecreations.com/aspire/includes/templates/barebones_1/images/background.gif);

I'm not sure why you've got the mod displaying as a table instead of as divs.```

What version of the grid mod is this?
What changes have you made to the mod?

re SSL warning errors on harcored images - whats the alternative here?

re tables insted of divs - this is no amendment I have made. I have installed the following ad ons:

Stock by attributes
Image handler II
Grid Mod

in that order. I have also installed the Google Froogle feed generator, which works fine as I uploaded this morning.

Zen version 1.3.7
Grid mod version v1.3.6v1.3.7, revision 7 - last mod entry "(vii)Upgraded for v1.3.6-compatibility Oct 25, 2006. Works for 1.3.5 and 1.3.6."

Just fyi - i have reverted back to a list display for now as the shop is live.

got to say that is a nice site, i did see the error thought and looks like park of the css isn't loading in on the div that contains the items. quick refresh and it cleared up.

ive never seen this mod before and i love it,

where can i find out about mods like this as i might be interested in this later in the future??

any clues as to how i might amend this prob?

have a look in your server error log file and there might be a clue in there if anything is being stopped by a htaccess file or anything like that.
