First Class Shipping USPS weight problem?

With First Class Shipping as my only option (yes, I'm set up for API), I get this -

-2147219434 - First Class mail must weigh 13 ounces or less.

My product's weight is set to 0.187 which is only 3 ounces.

If I have Priority, First Class, and Parcel selected as methods of shipping, Priority and Parcel show, and not First Class.

Anyone know a fix for this?

What is the Tare set to in your Configuration ... Shipping and Packaging?

It's set to 0:0 . I'm not quite sure that all that means.

My husband went in and set the weight to oz. since this is what we primarily ship. 3-12 oz items.

What is the Ship from and Ship to address that you are using?

Ship from is 77493
Ship to is 76642

How about posting a real Ship from and a real Ship to address and we can look into this more ... :smile:

on your server ... what is the line that starts with:

Thank you! I don't know what my husband did, but he changed it back to pounds, and then it just started working! I don't know if someone fixed something in there while we were doing it or what (not sure how they would have!)?

Did anyone ever figure out what was changed to fix this issue? All of a sudden the First Class option has disappeared from the shipping module.

Have you added the updates for the November USPS changes that they did not announce to anyone that they were making?

Hi Ajeh,

I re-installed the USPS module with the new updated one and it resolved this issue as well as the always defaulting to Express shipping error that was occuring as well!
