Feeling very silly- but where on EARTH is the Grid Layout Contribution?

Hi everyone-

I've searched the download section high and low- even the categories that don't make sense- TWICE... I'm looking for DrByte's product grid layout contribution.

Could anyone please point me in the right direction? Pretty please? I'm sure I'm just blind from looking at code all day.... :blush:

I would like to try this module.

This may sound like silly/dumb question, and I've been searching through the FAQ to see if I could find an answer, but have not had any luck. I'm a newbie so please excuse my ignorance....but when it says to back up the Mysql DB...how do I do that? Is there something in the admin in the Tools or developer's area that I can use? or is this something I have to do from the phpmyadmin? I have the templates in place, but am trying to figure out how to set up the sql as described in the instructions. I found the Install SQL patches in Tools in the admin, but am afraid to insert that, not knowing what I'm doing without being able to make a backup and replace whatever I mess up. Can anyone advise?

make backups, take the time, test the backups to make sure they work. but don't be afraid to add patches. my advice is to look at a couple patches from the downloads page to see how the code is written and compare it to what you are attempting to change in your database. cut and paste carefully and you should have no problems.
