Getting rid of '...more info' on the category page

the title says it all, can someone help me with this task.

Not really ... the more info is used in many places ... so I am guessing that you mean in the Product Listing when navigating through the Categories ...

The ... more info appears for several reasons ... the most common being that you have Attributes and a Product with Attributes must be added to the shopping cart from the Product _info pages ...

Or, there is a setting to force all Products regardless of Attributes or not to have the ... more info

Or, there is the ... more info when there is a large products_description ...

Perhaps you have an URL that we can peek at to see which ... more info you might be referring to? :smile:

yeah sure, ive been messing with a lot of stuff, so it might seem a little sloppy, but you can view what i mean HERE

underneath the price, it has '...more info' i want that gone because its not really needed, and takes away from the simple design that im looking for.

You should really be using your own templates and override system and not Classic ...

This will get wiped out when you upgrade in the future ... :eek:

You appear to be using an Add-on ... so you will need to customize it further ...

More than likely you are looking for:
MORE_INFO_TEXT

And need to not show that on your listings ...

Most likely filename:
/includes/modules/product_listing.php

Which would have a copy in your templates and overrides directory:
/includes/modules/your_templates_dir/product_listing.php

Most likely that your_templates_dir is called: classic

yeah im using classic. it was a mistake a made awhile ago, and i have figured out what i need to do before i upgrade, IF i decide to upgrade at all :D

now lets see if i can figure this out.

You should stop!

Start a new template and override directory:
/fred

or something appropriate for your site ...

Where you see the /classic directories make a /fred and copy the files from the /classic to /fred ...

When all complete ...

You can customize the setting for the file:
/includes/templates/fred/template_info.php

And change the information inside ...

Then you would go switch Templates in the Admin Tools ... Template Selection ... to Fred ...

Next you go to the Tools ... Layout Box Controller ...

Then reset the boxes to how you want them to display ...

When done if you switch between Classic and Fred you should see the same thing ...

Before doing this ... backup all of your site in case you ... you know ... moofy it all up ... :eek:
