Sidebox for Introductory Offers?

Hi All
Hope you are all enjoying the Easter Holidays (double bank holiday here in the UK)
I was wondering if there is anyway of creating an introductory offers sidebox, which would work the same way as the specials link/sidebox. Is this possible and if so how?

Clone the featured table ...

Clone the featured sidebox ...

Clone the featured admin files ...

Take a bit to get it all done, but that would let you set products specifically to be included in this gang of introductory offeres that would be separate from everything else ...
