Attribute Priced Products not working correctly, Please Help

Hello, I have been working on a Zen Cart shop for about 7 Months now & I have run into a problem. I have priced some of my products by attribute. (eg. I have a bag that comes in different sizes & I have set one time charges for each bag size & all appears fine and works well when u are buying 1 of the product. But when a customer selects to buy 2 or more of the product it does not multiply the price & so they only pay for 1 when they are getting more than 1. :(
I hope this makes sense, I have looked over the forums trying to find an answer but I'm not getting anywhere. I hope somebody can help me, thankyou. :bigups:

One time charges are just that ... one time charges ...

If you set the Attribute Price to 10.00 with a One Time Charge of 5.00

qty 1 = (1 x $10.00) + $5.00 = $15.00
qty 2 = (2 x $10.00) + $5.00 = $25.00
qty 3 = (3 x $10.00) + $5.00 = $35.00

Oh I see, well yeah that does make sense. :oops:
Well the thing is I want to price my products by attributes but I don't want to do it in a way where you just tell it to add $__ to the price. I want to be able to put in set prices for them & have the quantity still work correctly.
Is there a way to do this?

If a Product is Priced by Attribute and products_price is 0.00 ...

Then you add to the attribute price
Prefix (leave blank)
Price 15.00

This is $15.00 X Qty for the price ... Note: display price is $15.00

If you set the attribute as:
Prefix (leave blank)
Price 15.00
One Time Price 5.00

This is $15.00 X Qty + $5.00 for the price ... Note: display price is still $15.00

I have another scenario to setup

For example My Product price is $100.00 each
I have attribute option that allow buyer to Choose Yes or No.
If Yes +$2.00 for each QTY bought.

So my total price should be (100.00QTY)+(2.00QTY). How do I get this to sums up to total amount to pay?

If products_price is 100.00 ...

And your attributes have a charge ...

Make sure that you have not accidentally marked this Product as Priced by Attribute ...

It uses attributes on building the price ... but it is not Priced by Attributes to get there ...

When I added the purchase into the cart and press RECALCULATE, the total and units become 0.00...ALL ZERO

Any idea why?

Attributes Discount Quantity issue....
I'm having what's prob a simple issue, I'm just new. Here's what's going on:

I have a product with no price set, a min of 4, and priced by attributes in main product setup.
I then have that product's attribute, in the attribute controller, in a pull-down set as 0.00 dollars, and the attribute quantity price breaks as:
1:20.00, 36:15.00,84:10.00

Is syntax above correct for pricing an item with this price break structure:
1-35 @ $20.00
36-85 @ $15.00
and
86+ @ $10.00
?

I think something's wrong because the pop-up discount table chart shows:
QTY: 1 @ 20.00
QTY: 2-36 @ 15.00
QTY: 37+ @ 10.00

I have to be doing something very wrong here..HAHAHAHA...any ideas? Thanks, friends, for all your hard work helping people like understand this.

Figured out what to do....
Sorry, didn't see how to edit my prev post above to add this info, so I'm making a reply, so everyone can see how it's done...if they are new like me, it'll help:
The fix was entering it into the attribute quantity discount field as:
35:20.00,83:15.00,84:10.00

Meaning; everything up to 35 is $20, everything up to 83 is $15, and everything up to 84 and beyond is $10

It shows correctly in the popup quantity table chart now too. Thanks all....hope this helps someone.

I found the problem:clap::flex:.Please view my attachment. I have edited the tpl_shopping_cart_default.php file so that I may just hide the attribute selections like the one in RED square in the picture. I could not remember which line was remarked in the file.

Well I put the back the original file by remove overriding. Its ok now. So how do I hide the attribute content in the shopping cart content????? Is the attribute content useful?

The attribute content is telling the customer the details of what is coming with the Product ...

In trying to remove that content you are breaking the logic so the recalculations cannot work right ...
