download same thing 2x

I've been looking through the forum for a similar problem and can't find it, so here goes.

I'm using 1.3.7 on Linux and now setting up down loadable products. All is going well except that in trial a friend who agreed to help chose the same item 2x to download. Now these are Winrar files of mp3 so you only need 1 download.
Is there any way to prevent duplication of selection?

My site is http://therasounds.com and I'm in test mode, so you can use Visa with a card number of 4111111111111111 (that's 4 + (15)1s) if you would like to see the problem. Warning the files are very large. Whole albums of 50 - 60 MB.

Two ways to approach this ...

Don't use a Qty box on these download products:

Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box
Advantage: qty box is gone from display
Disadvantage: if they order twice you get 2 in cart

Set a limit on how many can be ordered:

Set Maximum to 1
Advantage: there can be only 1
Disadvantage: it displays everywhere

NOTE: used together, this is also effective ...

I thought I had set them that way, so I don't know how he got past it - I can't. Maybe I missed one or two.
I bought the Zen Cart book - its amazingly helpful. I recommend it to everyone.
