center column mis-aligned

i widened the left column to allow for lengthy product names and the center column has become misaligned. i have tried all kind of re-sizing in the css and anything i can find in the admin to fix...to no avail. HELP!

Try this:

Admin Panel > Configuration > Layout Settings >
Look at the column widths: Left and right

tried that (sorry, should have specified). that's where i adjusted the left column width. but the center is still out of whack.

the right border of the center column is not appearing where it should. It's getting hidden behind the 3rd column.

Template Monster template? Look for hardcoded widths in the pages.

No template apart from that which came with zen cart originally.

I have my left column at 175px and my right at 150px and all centre column pages (eg define_main_page, product_info, etc) are to the right just enough to hide the right hand edge (borders).

http://www.funkymoose.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=45 for example has a nice 5px margin on the left but the right is up against the right hand column and not central to the page.

I have change my front page so it does not show at the moment but my previous page I was loosing text behind the right column.

sorry MG, i can't be of much help. mine still isn't exactly how i want it either...

i didn't buy my template directly from template monster, but i just discovered that's where it originated. so i'm sure that kim's suggestions about it being hard coded is most likely right.

i got the 3 columns to at least all fit together, but i have lost the right border on the center column.

Had a look and I see what you mean - I like the design by the way

You have a div with the class="dc m_c4" which may want to look at to see if that is meant to have a border of call in an image.

You also have a link to stylesheeHOLD.css which may be overriding the true style sheet as it is called after the new one and this too may be causing you the problem

I am not saying I know it all - I am a beginner of beginners - but it may be a starting point to look.

you may want to try this:

.m_c4 { width:15px;border-right:1px solid #cccccc} - change for colour width etc or try border-left

oh wow! thanks for noticing that! i'll check it out...

maybe some one could help me too , i know it is a minor fix but I can't find it and the more i play with it I make a bigger mess

My center pages going all the way to the right mainly in front page, ezpages, and items
