Is Zen forcing the regulation "Terms" with Paypal Express doable?

I did a search, but find no referances so far on this forum.

But, is there a way to somehow get the buyer to check off a website's Terms and Conditions before a purchase?

Or does that just fly in the face of Paypal Express's Terms and Conditions?

You might peek at the Configuration ... Regulations ... see if these are what you are looking for ...

Re: Is Zen forcing the regulation "Terms" with Paypal Express doable?

Hi Ajeh,

Yes, your admin location is correct and I have applied it in the past before this Paypal Express module install.

But I am assuming that only those who log in with an account would ever see it as a check off in Step 2, and that is if they do not use the Paypal Express buttons somewhere along the way.

If its a choice between Regulations or Paypal Express then I will just have to live with it. I could not find where someone tried to tackle it and I'm just trying to wrap my mind around a solution that will still have the "Terms" checked off - "all the time".:dontgetit

That has not yet been addressed in the Express Checkout mod.

DrByte:

That has not yet been addressed in the Express Checkout mod.

I just updated your Paypal patches (PPEC-137-patches-March-21-2007), and reinstalled the modules per the instructions.

Along the way I noticed the option "Express Checkout: Skip Payment Page.
Prior times I had Yes, but this time I tried "No". On a hutch, I went back to Regulations and put Terms back on.

Yes, it makes them Paypal Express purchases go to Step 2, but they can now be regulated with Terms or Privacy if a store wants it.

Does anyone know if this is still possible with 1.3.9b? I cant seem to get it to work, at the moment people have to follow the account setup which doesnt quite work for express.

Unfortunately, no, it hasn't been enforced as of v1.3.9d.
