port 1129

HELP!!!!
Port 1129 not open? What does that mean? I just talked to the link point support and they said that the reason my transaction is not hitting the server (my cart not communication with linkpoint) might be because the port 1129 is closed can anyone give me an insight to what I need to do??? I need to finish setting up before I introduce my store!

you need to contact your host and have them open port 1129

Just had a MAJOR issue with this - be aware of the following:

Linkpoint must have BIDIRECTIONAL open for 1129. Some hosts only open OUTBOUND.
Some hosts require Virtual Dedicated Server (more costly) to have ACCESS to 1129. (Go Daddy is one of them).
