Category Description doesn't show 1 item...

I have a main category of Comics, then sub-cats by the publishers. For each Sub, I have added a pic of their logo as well as some text explaining my grading system. It works fine for any sub-cat that has more then 1 comic listed under it, but for the ones that only have 1 listed, it doesn't show that text. How can I make it show?

If you are referring to a sub cat with more than one and the resulting product listing page - cats with only one by pass this page and go directly to the product info page

This is not a selection in the admin that I am aware of

Configuration > Layout Settings > Skip 1-prod Categories - set to false to show your subcats in all cases.
