Discount Coupon and Payment Gateway

My discount coupon works fine in the checkout basket but when it is re-directed to the payment gateway (setcom) it only picks up the full amount and not the dicount.

Here is my coupon details:

Coupon Name :: RainforestDiscount
Coupon Amount :: 30.0000%
Start Date :: 04/16/2007
End Date :: 04/22/2007
Uses per Coupon :: Unlimited
Uses per Customer :: 1
Valid Product List :: Restrictions Apply
Valid Categories List :: Restrictions Apply
Date Created :: 04/20/2007
Date Modified :: 04/20/2007

Coupon Zone Restriction: :: 0

And while I have your attention (lol) is there any guide/reference that gives instructions on the correct way of setting up Discount Coupons, because I dont think I am doing it right.

What Payment modules are you using?

Hi I am using SETCOM and Direct Deposit but the problem is when I use SETCOM, I have also opened a support ticket with them just to be safe.

I am afraid that I am not familar with them ...

The Payment module may not properly be addressing the amount of the order when Discount Coupons or Gift Certificates or other discounts are applied to the order ...

Sorry my problem has still not been fixed.

I am going to find a web developer to fix or to make a new module from scratch. Are you interested in paying half the costs to get a fixed setcom payment module?
If yes, are you situated in ZA?

Yes yes and yes! Lol! Okay I would just need to know before hand what the developer will be quoting.

had same problems with setcom module - the module failed to pick up stuff such as insurance, other charges, discounts etc. Setcom was goign to release a newer version but that was 6 months ago...good luck with trying to get anything out of that.
am still having problems with the module which fails to register a sale on my admin side. ;o(((((

am gonna change and soon!
