Google checkout problem.

When I get to my checkout page it doesn't give me the option to CHOOSE google checkout, it is the default choice but if I choose an alternative I cannot go back to google checkout. In other words, I cannot check google checkout as an option.
Also, once the order process has gone through, it doesn't even prompt me to google checkout site. The order goes through without the payment process. What's wrong?
