Need help changing permissions on configure files.

Hi,
I am getting a few errors when trying to install Zen Cart. They are listed below.- 4.3.1 PHP Version not supported more info...

• admin configure.php is not writeable more info...
• store configure.php is not writeable more info...I downloaded the latest ZCart release and uploaded as directed. Now I am stuck at what to do about these three issues.

How, if I can, upgrade my PHP version?
Whenever I open WS FTP and change the permissions of the two configure files, the changed do not save. When I go back to look at it, it is back to 666 when it supposed to be 777. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sometimes, depending on the capabilities of control that your hosting site has given you to your own domain ... you will have to go into your Control Panel to make these changes ...

Thanks for that help. It got rid of 2/3 problems. Now I a, left with;

4.3.1 PHP Version not supported more info...

My problems during installation have been fixed. However now, when trying to view my cart, I get this error message;

Directory Listing Denied

This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Any suggestions?
