Confirm Email Address Entry - Contact Us page

We've had a number of people enter their email address incorrectly when attemping to contact us using the "Contact Us" page. I've since added a note asking that they:

Please confirm that you have entered your email address correctly
But it hasn't eliminated the problem.

I know that there is a Confirm Email Address Entry for the Create Account page. Is there something similar available for this use? (I suppose I could attempt to hack at the above-mentioned module and modify it to serve this purpose - However certainly not before finding out if someone else has already done the work. My hack skills are limited and usually time-consuming! :laugh: )

Sounds promising - I looked into it and found that on one of my sites I have "verify email addresses thru DNS" as an option and on one I don't. I'm running 1.3.6 on both!?! :huh: Of course the site where I would Like to set this option to true doesn't have it.

Any idea how I go about adding that option? (The site without the option is an upgrade - The other is a fresh install)

Also, I'm running on a Windows-based machine and heard somewhere that if you're using PHP on a Windows server the "verify email addresses thru DNS" doesn't work. Is that correct?

Well if you used the templates and overrides correctly you should be able to upgrade the one that doesn't have it to 1.3.7 and fix your problem without losing anything.

As far as the windows server, I have no idea I have always used Linux servers because they dont make me want to throw them out the window nearly as often lol.
