Discount price that could have two prices in one

I don't think this is possible but you never know.
Lets say im selling pens. I will sell them individually for $1.25 each but if you buy a box of 12 they are $1.00 each. No problem, in Attributes Controller>Attributes Qty Price Discount, I have 11:1.25,12:1.00
But lets say I want to buy 13 pens.
Is there a way to charge $1.00 for the first 12 pens and $1.25 for the additional pen?

I think you may need two products: a box of 12 for $12.00 (they can buy as many boxes as they want, perhaps at a bigger discount for lots of boxes), and individual pens at $1.25 (again, they can buy as many as they want, but no qty discounts - for that, they need to order a box.)

What happens at 14? or 15?

You could have dropdowns or radiobuttons to select 1,2,3,4...10,11 pens at $1.25 each, and another set of dropdowns/radiobuttons to select 1 dozen, 2 dozen, etc. at $12/box.That would function, but seems likely to confuse customers. And the auto pricing function would not say "$1.25 ea", it would say "$1.25", "$2.50", "$3.75" etc.

I don't have a URL for this, I was just wondering if it was possible. I currently would achieve this by having 2 product listings, 1 for the individual pen and one for a box of 12 pens or I would have 1 attribute for the individual pens and one for the box of pens in a single product listing.
If you were to order 14 or 15 pens you would be charged $1.25 each and not $1.00 for the first 12 and $1.25 for each additional with the formula
