How to add products

Hi, I'm very new to all of this stuff, and I thought that it was an easy thing to add a product but every time I try I get this message after clicking the insert button

"1054 Unknown column 'products_weight_type' in 'field list'

And I don't have a clue whats going on, not a programer, or anything, If someone knows whats going on and can help I'd really appreciate it. I don't know if its the Canada Post module thats causing the problem or not. But please help, someone:cry:

a fresh install??? Check your files that were uploaded If you FTP'd them what FTP client did you use?? You can try just overloading them again and look for transfer errors...Good clients will report them or get free filezilla

Thanks, I actually got if figured out. Another zenner pointed out that I had forgotten to install the sql patch included with the canada post module. Thanks.
