Banners not working?

I have an issue mabe someone can help me with? I have some banners that I uploaded to my banners folder and I used banner manager to install them. I followed the path to the banners/MY_BANNER ect. I cant seem to get them to show on my site. I turned on the banners in the layout box controler ect. What I cant figure out is I had it working untill I deleted all my banners because they wernt in the banners folder they were in the images folder so I wanted to move them to thier proper place and now it isnt working?

Can you see the banners in the:
/images/banners

directory on your server?

Have you added the Banners to a Banner Group or made a new Banner Group in the Tools ... Banner Manager ...

Have you made sure that the Banner Group you used or created is in the Configuration ... Layout Settings ... in the correct Banner Set of Banner Groups?

What is the name of your Banner Group?

Can you see the banner via the browser directly?

1. I see the baners in the banners file on my server because thats where I uploaded them.
2. I used banner manager/new banner and I added the banners that were long in the Wide-Banner group and I added the banners that were small in the Sidebox-banner group.
3. the Two names I use for banner groups are Wide-Banners and Sidebox-Banners
4. No I cant see them in the browser.

One question that you not answer directly is if you have enabled the display of these banner groups...

admin > tools > layout box controller > select the correct banner group > insure that it is "on" and configured to display in the location that is available

Yes they are on. I just figured out one mistake though! I named the Wide-banners group "Wide-Banner" with no s. and I did the same for the SideBox-banners.. I fixed them and the boxes are there but with no image?

Go back and insure that the images are added to the correctly named groups....or start form the beginning and perform each step to the correctly named groups

Im such an Idiot!! :frusty: The images wernt named right, In other words I forgot to put eather .jpg or .gif......

Sorry guys that was a stupid mistake :blink: I should have cought all this! But everything is working now!
