Expanded Category List and BetterCategories

are these two compatible?

I can't seem to 'turn on' the Expanded Category List to show subcategories...

Everything looks fine to me. All categories expand when clicked for me.

Thanks GetEm - but I'm actually working on a new site. The Expanded Category List expands the category sidebox to show subcategories without having to click on the category. I just discovered that - for me so far - it generates a new sidebox and doesn't affect the BetterCategories EZInfo sidebox.

It would sure be nice if it did.....:blush:

Oh, I see. Have you tried CSS Fly Out Menu version: image-rollover-no-css ?
You can see this mode in action at www.linenspace.com
If you don't want images with a fly out menu, just replace them with a solid background color.
Is this more like what you're wanting?

I also want the sub categories to show without having to click.

I cannot find the "Expanded Category List" option as mentioned above in my admin panel or any where on the FAQ site. Any suggestions?
