payment: CC vs. Gift Certificate/Coupon

payment: CC vs. Gift Certificate/Coupon

I'm find that if a customer uses a credit card to make payment (using the standard zen credit card module), AND enters a coupon code, the payment method indicated on the order is Gift Certificate/Coupon and NO credit card information is included.

Has anyone else experienced this ? Is this a bug ? :cry:

using Zen Cart 1.3.7

Was this a clean install or an upgrade?

NOTE: there is a nice little safety to ensure that all Gift Certificates must be queued before they are released to the customer ... :smile:

Gift Certificate/Coupon is text ... you can change that to Give away if you want to ...

Check on how you have your Discount Coupon setup ...

Do you have restrictions? If so, what are they?

How much is the Discount?

Percentage or Amount?

Ensure you have not also made this Free Shipping too ... as Discount Coupons are either:

1 An amount

2 A Percentage

3 Free Shipping

They are not, at this time, designed to be a combination ...

Coupons are for percentage. no restrictions except for having to spend a certain amount before able to use it.

Also, if customer inputs the discount code then hits tab or return to enter their cc infomation it seems to happen.

Has this issue been taken care of in 1.3.8? I'm using 1.3.7 and experienced this for the first time today. It figures I would during the holidays!

I still have to update to 1.3.8. I need to find someone who knows how to do it as I have no clue.
