"Contact Us" not working

Hi all,

Hope you can shed some light on this for me.

Been messing with the system for a few weeks now & pretty much have a good portion of it nailed, however...

I just tried a fresh install today (several times) from todays download. Set all my permissions correct etc. When I go to the "contact us" page I no longer get the "**If you have a question for mystore please use the below form
or email us at [email protected]" It does show the store name address etc

**The notification does not work.

Also noticed that the credit card split view is not working either does not send the missing #### to me (perhaps related)

The add an account works fine, sends an email..valadates just fine.

Any suggestions on where I can look to try & resolve this issue?

Again, I'm just playing here trying to get a real good grip on the system
