Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

We have been round and round with authorize.net about this. They keep referring us to zen-cart support. Our main issue is the constant error code 13 when trying to complete a transaction. It states that the user id and or password is incorrect for the account. This info has been verified with authorize and they claim everything is setup correctly on their end. The url it is trying to access is https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll
I know it is attempting to at least connect because of the error 13. We currently have Store pickup shipping enabled as well as zipcode delivery. The hosting provider is Network Solutions. They do not appear to block anything that would cause this.
The url for our site is http://www.petcentralnyc.com

PLEASE HELP

thanks

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

Have you tried logging into your Auth.net account and re-generating your transaction key?
Then take that new key and enter it into your Zen Cart admin.

Also, check your Auth.net user ID and make sure it has the proper permissions to charge cards and take authorizations etc.
Be sure you've supplied the Zen Cart admin with an Auth.net userID that has these permissions.

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

We have tried what you said. A test transaction went through on the website, we regenerated the UserID and passkey. We are still getting error 13. Could the encryption method be causing this to happen? Could any other modules be causing this? Thanks in advance and for your last answer. Anything we can try is greatly appreciated!

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

If you're using Zen Cart v1.3.7, go to this post and grab the updated AIM module code I posted there.
http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpost.php?p=310464&postcount=45

Install it, turn on Debug Logging to file, and test again.

If it doesn't work, post the log for analysis. It'll be in the /cache folder.

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

We have tested using the authorize.net module you have supplied. It says the order is complete but it isnt logging the transaction on authorize.net's end. The log files were not in the cache directory. We did not get any errors this time.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

Is your /cache folder writable (ie: chmod 777 ) ?

network solutions has a bad reputation for weird things

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

Oh? Well honestly, this is the first odd thing I have heard of with NetSol. Im a tech there, so I get to hear all of the negativity. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated though.

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

As a tech, how much control do you have on seeing what's happening during the CURL communications?
I'm trying to get the logging to report the details of what's been sent and received.

If the cache folder isn't writable, then the logs won't get written.

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

We dont get to see any of the comm logs. We just get to hear the negativity. If it gets extremely technical, it gets sent immediately to engineering. Thats a great question. I do know that with the original version of the script it wasnt passing the login info correctly. We were still getting an error code. With the updated version, it just successfully completes the transaction no matter what. Any thoughts?

Re: Authorize.net Issues... HELP!

One more necessary piece of info: I have already had this escalated to the engineering department. I also contacted authorize.net. Both are claiming scripting issues. Then again, this could simply be a case of passing the buck. Don't know if that will help or not, but I figured that I would throw that in there.

Thanks again
