'Contact us' in header

I'm a zencart novice, but learning all the time.

I need to place a link to 'contact us' in the header bar alongside 'home' and 'login'. Is there an admin setting to place the define pages link in this position, or does this need a php code change?

You can copy the link code in /includes/modules/sideboxes/information.php:

<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_CONTACT_US) . '">' . BOX_INFORMATION_CONTACT . '</a>
```into the place you want it in /includes/templates/your_template/common/tpl_header.php. 
Look for the <!--bof navigation display--> at the beginning of the section.

hmm I'm trying something similar....to put a link back to my main website in the store, but I'm not finding that bit of code ( <!--bof navigation display--> ) anywhere in the tpl_header file

Are you just using a search function, or actually looking at the file? It's right about line 43.

I haven't done anything with either of those, so can't tell you offhand where to pick up the code.
In Tools > Layout Boxes Controller, you can see the base php file for each function, so that would be a place to start. Enable the sidebox, and you may find useful links/variables/code in the view source. Otherwise, you will need to track down files in your file manager and look at ones with promising names.

There have been discussions of both of these questions in the forum, so try searching with as many specific keywords as you can think of.
