Customer with Credit Card cannot use Discount Coupon

If she enters the coupon code, she thinks her info is going through the cc payment, but it shows up as gift certificate/coupon payment method...

She is the only one we have trouble with... and her orders need to be charged tax.

Please advise.

Add text to the page for:
Enter Discount Coupon and hit enter ... then complete your payment information ...

Or, you will need to make it more clear that the discount coupon is separate from the payment ...

I am not sure what version you are running but you should be able to enter the discount coupon code and complete the credit card information and then hit Continue ...

Otherwise, you should upgrade to the current version so that this works for you in this manner to help avoid those who cannot get it ...

It would appear that the trouble is with one time use coupons. For the coupons that are open ended, the orders go just fine. Any thoughts?
