Order shows up under wrong customer account.

Last night a new customer ordered a product and paid for it. There is no sign of her having a customer account. The order shows up on the admin site as belonging to another customer, but the delivery address is that of the new customer and the Paypal payment came from the new customer. The original customer received the confirmation email and was naturally concerned that HER Paypal account may have been used, but it was not. I am baffled. It reminds me of the 'ghost order' I get evry time I receive funds from a Paypal request, another puzzling enigma. Can anyone help me?

I just had this very thing happen to me. I checked everything out and the order was placed and paid for by someone who did not sign in to my store. The order was placed under another current customer.

I had to do some damage control to get everyone happy in this situation. The current customer was very concerned he was double-charged - which he was not.

make sure that you dont have ANY links out there with a zen ID attached to em
