Minimum Order Based On Manufacturer

Sorry if this has been explained elsewhere but I haven't found this issue in particular...

I sell products for multiple manufacturers and some require no minimum purchase amount while some require, for example, at least $15 to be spent before taxes/shipping. Is there a way to set a minimum purchase order based on manufacturers, and if so how?

You can set on your Products when adding/editing settings like:

Product Qty Minimum: 1
Product Qty Maximum: 0 = Unlimited, 1 = No Qty Boxes
Product Qty Units: 1

If you need to allow for mixed products per manufactuerer then you would need to customize the code to verify that each order has reached each manufactuerer minimum totals before allowing checkout ...

I have not seen an add-on for it ... but this can be written ...

Thanks Linda. I do need to be able to do mixed products. At this point in time I have two manufacturers: A) doesn't have a minimum order but B) says they will not accept orders under $15. If a customer wants to purchase several items from both manufacturers, the total of the items from B will have to be $15 or more. PHP is a foreign language to me, so if anyone wants to make a mod for this, it would be greatly appreciated!!!
