Which host to use?

Hi, just found and installed zencart, to find out my host doesnt have things configured for it to work properly.
My php safe mode is on instead of off and my session path is not writable, meaning i cant upload any images!
I'm on Bravenet and am paying £6.02 a month, i was just wondering if its worth moving to a different host?
I just wondered which hosts others are with, and have they caused any problems with zencart?

under the hosting heading,
all hosts here are certified and guaranteed to work with Zen Cart

i didnt realise there was a section dedicated to hosts in the forum, i only posted quickly as i was in a rush, so i apologise for posting in the wrong place!
