Removing category icon/product main image on product info page

I want to remove the category icon and product main image on the product info page (as shown in screen capture below). Can they be turned off in admin?

What I've done is add display: none to the style sheet, and it works. But I prefer to do it in admin (if it can be done there).

This can be done in the admin and without editing the CSS. Check "Layout Settings" and "Images" between those you should get it removed.

I've been playing with this and trying but I haven't figured this out yet. Anyone done this before and can lend a bit of guidance on how to remove that image?

To be more specific..

In the admin..

Select the "Configuration" menu
The select "Product Info"
3rd option down. Here you can turn off that image.

This is to turn off the category image on the product detail page as shown in the above pictures.

'Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Name and Image Status'

... had anything to do with the category image that appears on the product info page.

I would add a small question... These are the 3 suboption :
0= Category Name and Image always shows
1= Category Name only
2= Category Name and Image when not blank

1. What does "when not blank" mean ?
2. Is there a way to remove also the category title too, please ?
3. Is there a way to remove the "product added on 10th june..." thing on the product page, using the admin tool ?
4. Same question for the quantity, since I only have downloadable products, I would like to remove the "1 in stock" info completely.
5. Idem for "write a review"... don't want that.

Corinne 3-5 can be done in admin, but right now I just can't remember where (it's bedtime for me and my eyes are getting sore).

I'm going to remove category title too, will see if I can find it in admin tomorrow. If not I'll just do it in CSS.

I have tried everything possible and can't find a solution to get rid of the category icon text. There is no image there, just text which I also don't want there.

Here is the code I am looking at from source but I don't want it because it directs to a url which has duplicate content from the homepage. How can I get rid of it.

I have looked over a couple other threads and tried different things with no success.

OK I got it now. It was actually the second option under admin -> configuration->product info.

That option is called "Previous Next - Navigation Includes Category Position" and should be set to 0.
