Canada Post adds 3 kg??

I have installed the Canada Post module for shipping and it seems to work fine except that it adds a 3kg weight to whatever I put in the shopping cart. I tried checking the "no package needed" box but it didn't change that weight problem.

Anyone has seen this before?
