IP address not getting to Authorize.net

DrByte:

Is there any differnce if you use live mode instead of test mode?

OK from your help with this here is what happen and how i got it to work.

  1. research the forum i notice i was using a older version of the AIM mod not sure how that happen but it was not giving the extra four id at the end of the order number.

  2. authorize.net needs to be in live mode or the order will not show up in the authorize net admin. I figured this out by putting the AIM mod in test mode and running some transactions with authorize net in test mode nothing showed up in authorize net admin. Then switch authorize net to live leaving AIM in test mode and the transactions showed up in the authorize net admin. Then i switch both to live and it worked fine.

So it seem to be working now thanks for you help. man i was racking my brain for a week on this. I guess when authorize net in in test mode nothing shows up.

Oh by the way i was not sure where to put the original post and i know this really has nothing to do with IP issues but i figured i'd place here since i started this thread, figure if anyone have the same problem you can point them here or what not. Again thanks very much for your help, in pointing me in the right directions

Correct. When in test mode, none of your test transactions will show in your Authorize.net Account terminal/console or reports, since they are not real transactions.
