css buttons width - can't find where to adjust

hi again!

i'm redoing our site and have been playing with css buttons (instead of graphic ones) this time around. i've changed the language files to say what i'd like, and i've found all the related help i have needed for other issues- but i can not find the answer to this one!

http://www.cupcakeshop.com/index.php?main_page=contact_us&action=success

on pages like this, i end up with the "back" button taking up the whole of the page width-wise. where can i make this be an auto adjust where it is big enough to fit whatever i want it to fit? i'd like it to be just long enough with normal borders on every side... this happens to the "view" buttons within the "my account - view order history" pages as well.

any ideas?

thanks in advance!

Re: css buttons width - can't find where to adjust

I'm sorry if I missed the answer, but, yes I did read that thread. I tried adding this:

td .cssButton, td .cssButtonHover{
/* prevents buttons taking the full width of table cells */
display: inline;
}

...but that has only changed the issue to being too small for the text within the buttons! I've looked at both stylesheets and have been isolating the related classes by using the FireFox web developer's tools, but really am lost as to why this is happening. It is probably something very simple and I'm just missing it.

I was just hoping that someone else may have experienced and solved this issue?

Re: css buttons width - can't find where to adjust

Look what I found in your stylesheet_css_buttons_css ! :

.cssButton, .cssButtonHover {
background-color:#FBD2D4 !important;
border:1px solid #5F4747;
color:#5F4747;
cursor:pointer;
font-family:"century gothic",Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size:1em;
font-size-adjust:none;
font-stretch:normal;
font-style:normal;
font-variant:normal;
font-weight:normal;
height:2em;
line-height:2em;
margin:1px;
padding:0pt 0.5em;
text-align:center;
white-space:nowrap;
width:75%; }

That width value(in red) should be like only 5% or something. :ohmy:
