Credit Card Images for Payment Page not appearing

I've downloaded the images and followed the instructions below but the default "My Card" is still appearing.

1. upload the images to 'includes/templates/template_default/images/icons/'
2. log in to your carts admin
3. chose 'Configuration' _ 'Credit Cards'
4. enable all of the cards you plan on supporting by selecting the card and changeing its value to 1
5. enable the images by selecting 'Show on Payment' by changing its value to 2

Now that's an interesting question as they do not show up in my cart, either but I never thought about it until I set-up another woman's ZC a couple weeks ago and it shows up in her cart.

I just put a Visa/MC/Amex rotating gif logo in one of the banner boxes.

Having the same problem - plus - this appears in my Payment Method box TEXT_ACCEPTED_CREDIT_CARDS. I searched the forums for this expression and the last post was 2005 and not related.

I uploaded a fresh copy of tpl_checkout_payment_default.php and I still get the TEXT_ACCEPTED_CREDIT_CARDS statement inside the Payment Method Box.

Please disregard my denseness, as I repeated information in the first post. I just noticed that mine are not showing either...

Yippee! My images are now working! go figure.

For what its worth, I uploaded the cc1.gif to:

includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/images/icons

and in Admin under CONFIG -> CREDIT CARDS -> set Credit Card Enabled - Show on Payment to '2'.

I tried your method - and I had completely overlooked the bottom line and made it '2' just like you. (set Credit Card Enabled - Show on Payment to '2'.)
I already have my images in my folders, but it still does not work...for me and I am jealous:unsure:

And, I am getting a brain freeze when I read this statement in the admin block for credit card images...
Note: images and text must be defined in both the database and language file for specific credit card types.

Well, this may be redundant but,
be sure that the cc are all 'on' in the Admin, VISA set to 1, etc.

Oh, where in the Admin is that wording you quoted? I did not do anything except upload the gifs and turn the cards on. :blink:

Anyway, have you tried selecting the Classic template and see if the images show up there? Only other thing I can think of, which you've probably already done, is double check the images are properly named, that they are .gif and that they are in the correct INCLUDES folder. There is an INCLUDES in the Admin area, too.

Great idea - but unfortunately no :no: I use Firefox primarily, and it's doing the same thing in IE.

I have tested it in Firefox, Opera, IE7, Mozilla Sea Monkey ... same problem. Guess someone should stumble upon us soon - huh?

The reason I asked if you use the credit card payment module, I do not - I only am using PayPal IPN, and currently am testing the site... and I didn't know the credit cards were even supposed to show up (duh) 'cause I never saw them before (smile). One of the folks testing the site for me complained - so I changed the text to match PayPal's text and then started this thread. Guess we will have to wait until someone... :smile: upon us.

Try turning ON the CC module and see if the gifs work. i bet they do NOT work with that module off.

PayPal has its own module so these are not related.

Good point, and my CC Mod is on and it's still not showing.

I tried the cc module... no luck. It just has the text and no images... It's past my nity nite time - thanks for hangin' in there with me, I sincerely appreciate it.

PHP Ver 5.2.1

Credit Card Images for Payment Pages is a download. I downloaded it and installed it... and did not have any images. I started this thread, because I did not have any images... and found out I was not alone. We need help... where are the images? Is it possible that it is a bug in PHP Ver 5?
