Adding Bcc to emails sent from Zencart

How do I add a Bcc (Blind cc) to all emails sent from Zencart admin? I have looked at the email functions and docs, and do not see any mention of it. Tried adding

$mail-> Bcc = $from_email_address;

at line 196 of functions_email.php, but that did not do it.

I am a frustrated Systems Engineer; not a programmer, so a simple non-tech solution is greatly appreciated.

Re: Adding Bcc to emails sent from Zencart

There is no built-in BCC support.

What exactly were you wanting to do?
ie: BCC was what you were considering as a solution to ... what problem?

Re: Adding Bcc to emails sent from Zencart

I would like a copy of every mail I send from the admin console of Zencart to

  1. verify that the mail was in fact received and sent out by the SMTP server:unsure: , and
  2. to have a copy of the mail for filing in my local mail archive.
    Alternately, I can not find a way to select a subset of my customers (the intended recipient of the message and myself) to receive the email message. Does Zencart (or the Sendmail app in Zencart) support adding myself as a cc recipient of the email?

Re: Adding Bcc to emails sent from Zencart

Did you look at all the options in Admin->Configuration->E-Mail Options where you can setup emails to another email address?
