Bottom Banner Off

Hi,
I've customized the store quite a bit but I need to remove the banner rotating at the botton of the pages. Maybe I've been looking at it for loo long... ;)
Which file should I edit?

you dont edit any file,
go into admin -> configuration -> layout settings and turn OFF banner 6

That choice is not available under Configuration>Layout Settings. Are you sure that' it?

Actually, it was Footer Position 3. I removed the banner group name... ;)
